I do not drink much water (approximately 2 glasses per day). But I do urinate about 7 times a day. In case if I drink more, I get the need of urinating more. It makes me uncomfortable. Regarding my toilet habits, I do not go to toilet daily. The gap varies like 4-6 days. Sometimes it's hard & my anal area gets really painful when passing them out.

You need to drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water daily it doesn?t matter how frequently you urinate Drinking less water will affect your kidneys try to take plenty of fluids like juices soups.

Hello Water demand certainly varies from individual to individual and although a standar 6-8 glasses may be recommended but it depends on many factors. Eg the activity you are doing, sweating, weather etc. It?s better to judge your output by seeing the colour of urine at the end of the day (evening) and see if it is dark yellow or pale yellow. Ideally should be more on the pale side. Concentrated urine due to less water intake is dark in color and has a strong smell. Needless to say, water intake should be good for good digestion, healthy skin, hair and over all well being. Do not ignore your needs. The reason ofconstipation is always further aggravated by less water intake and explains why you are having straining at stools and pain. May I suggest you to increase water and other fluids like juices intake. But donot confuse coffee and tea as substitutes of water, they are infact slightly dehydrating.
