My 90 year old grandma had a Inter Trochanteric Fracture (hip). She has to undergo surgery. Is surgery advisable or any chances of recovering without surgery.

Hi, intertrochanteric fracture requires surgery unless strongly contraindicated becoz of medical comorbidities, if operated patient can be mobilised early out of bed and prevent complication like bed sores, chest problem n all.
