I am suffering from Jock itch. Its very painful .Have this from 5 months.
Kindly suggest me best Cream, medicines for it.

Jock itch is a kind of fungal infection. Along with treatment it is very imp to take precautions like avoiding hot and humid climate, using an antifungal dusting powder regularly, washing your clothes daily, maintaining proper personal hygiene. Creams like clotrimazole are available in most stores as antifungal creams. Do not use a combination as it will also contain a steroid to give faster relief from itching but it will aggravate your problem if used for longer perood. Switch to a plain antifungal. Higher antifungals are more effective. Sertaconazole is a good option. I would suggest you to get your self examined by a dermatologist near you in case you need to be put on antifungal tablets. Plain antifungal cream should be used for atleast 2 weeks after the infection visibly subsides. I cannot recommend or prescribe any particular cream on this forum as I will need to examine you first.
