My wife has stain of thalassemia. So her hemoglobin always remains below 10.0. This is respective of good diet, fruits, green vegetable, dates, honey etc. She is vegetarian. Doctors do not advice iron tablet, supplements. They say that it can deposit at unwanted places in such patients. She is 60 years old and normal. Any suggestion to increase hemoglobin?
