What is igE level. What does igE level 1650 mean in blood test. I was suffering from recurrent gold and tonsil and lung infections.

Ige is raised due to allergy reaction. Id indicate your lung infection is allergy mediated likly to be allergic asthma with allergic rhinitis. Need skin prik test for allergy. If positive which correlate to your clinical history then may need immunotherapy. In fungal sensitisation Ige can be raised. Also rule out allergic bronchopulmonary aspergilosis which can also be a cause for raised Ige.
