My wife is having swelling in both her lower legs. She is having olkem 20 AM for blood pressure and TRIGLYNASE 1 for diabetes.Please suggest something for that.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Since the person is on Olemsartan 20 mg plus Amlodepine 5 mg for her BP, it appears that swelling of the lower limbs is due to Amlodepine as that drug does cause lower limb swelling in some patients. Plus it is also essential to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting < 100 mg, Pp 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8. So you may have to change the BP treatment with a suitable drug. Thanks.
