Hi, Chronic allergic cold/ sinus is affecting my day to day life. I wake up everyday with itching and pain in my nose. I want to get rid of this via medication. Will medication help solve the issue permanently? I like to use fragrances but have stopped it as it adds more to this cold. It will not go away for weeks and at times months. Kindly advise.

Probably you are suffering from chronic allergic rhinitis, ye, it can be controlled by medication but can't be removed permanently, as it s your body's own response to a specific allergen, use of oral anihistaminics and topical steroid sprays will be helpful. Get to base line CT scan done to get an exact anatomical status of your sinuses, in female patients radiation's should be avoided if there is pregnancy.
