My recent diabetes Blood test is as below. My doctor has not suggested any medicine due to NIL result in Urine sugar. Advised to check after 3 weeks and diet in the food. 26th december 2017 test FASTING BLOOD SUGAR 183 mg/dl FASTING URINE SUGAR NIL POST PRANDIAL BLOOD SUGAR 240 mg /dl POST PRANDIAL URINE SUGAR Traces Please suggest any ayurvedic medicine to control it.

lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The blood glucose values mentioned are clearly suggestive of presence of diabetes. No one now a days talks about glucose in urine. For diagnosing diabetes following are the criteria: Fasting Glucose 126 mg and above, PP 200 mg and above & HbA1c% 6.5 and more. So you need to start treatment straight away. Plus you will have to take a restricted diet, avoiding sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, and bakery items plus foods made from maida. Increase the intake of green leafy vegetables and salads and fruits. Exercise daily for over 1 hour, refrain from alcohol and smoking as well as red meat. THanks.
