My husband had cold for 2 weeks and when routine blood test was conducted, his total wbc count was 8600 cells/cmm. But monocyte was 0%. Report says normocytic normochromic, no immature cells. What is cause? What are the outcomes and what to do to increase the monocyte count?

Blood report is within normal range. You dnt need to worry about monocytes. Monocytes increase during infection an if count is zero, it is normal. Normo stands for normal. Advice him to take steam and he will be fine very soon. All the best. For further querry, you can book a consultation.
