Dear Ms. lybrate-user, Dialysis is a well established therapy for ESRD. One should get better on regular dialysis. If his condition is deteriorating there should be some other reason like heart disease or liver disease etc. His nephrologist should be definitely looking into it. Also you should explore the option of kidney transplant with a suitable family donor.
