Hi sir My sister is getting seizures and recently in MRI doctor told some dymylenation disorder some myelin sheath got degenerate. Please let me know about this she got married recently is there any complications in future. She was taking oxcarbazepine 600 mg tab. Even though taking medicine she again got seizures. How to improve myelin sheath please let me know proper answers.

It?s very difficult to treat Demyelination which can remain lifelong but folicacid supplements will help and anti convulsions medication needs to be given , if necessary we will have to add another tablet after clinical examination and she might have to take it lifelong
