My son is suffering from Adult stills disease. He has undergone one major attack in January 17 with high fever with muscle pain leading to 22 days of hospitalisation including 15 days of incubation and he was given wysolone up to August 17. He has a relapse of mild pericardial effusion in November 6 and given wysolone up to December last. He was under methotrexate since discharged from hospital. Is there anyway of preventing further relapse and cure of the disease. My son age is 23 and works fora office in Hyderabad.

Relapsing disease is a difficult problem May require biological agents which are new But please consult a rheumatologist.
