We do not routinely need to test for the presence of UTI after completion of an antibiotic course, unless there are special circumstances. If at all a repeat test is needed, it is done at least 48 hours after completion of the antibiotic course. Since you are a young male (usually unlikely to get urinary tract infection) and have been treated with a high level antibiotic, it is better to consult your Physician or Urologist to aim to find the cause of your infection.
