Hello my age is 30. I have taken titnes injection due to some minor injury in my foot. Doctor has insters injection on my back side. I am feeling swelling in that area. Which cream or medicine I should use? Please suggest.

Hi there After getting injection, swelling and irritation (inflammation) can occur sometime at the site where the needle entered the skin which we can say as post injection inflammation. This is a reaction to the needle or to the medicine that was injected. Or it may be a reaction to both. The reaction may happen right away. Or it may only begin hours after the injection. In most cases, the reaction is not serious and goes away on its own Most of the time post-injection inflammation is mild. It goes away on its own in hours to days. If treatment is needed, you can apply cold pack at the site for like 10 minutes which will help to reduce swelling, itching, and pain and can take paracetamol or ibuprofen to subside pain and swelling.
