Dear Mr. lybrate-user Lipomas under the skin affect many persons. Usually, they do not cause pain but sometimes mild pain can be there. Some of the lipomas do not grow in size. If there is no pain and no increase in size, you can wait and watch. However, if there is pain or increase in size or any new swellings appear, you should consult a specialist for opinion. I would not be the right person to comment about homeopathy or other alternative therapies. I hope this answers your question in part.

Hi Thank you posting your concern Lipoma is a benign tumor of fat cells and usually presents as asymptomatic/ painless, soft/rubbery swellings which slip under the fingers when pressed. It is the most common benign form of soft tissue tumor. Multiple lipomas are common. Lipomas are usually small (under one centimeter diameter), remain the same size over years or grow very slowly. Usually, treatment of a lipoma is not necessary, unless the tumor becomes painful or restricts movement or becomes unsightly or bothersome. I would advice you to just observe them over time. If a particular lipoma becomes painful or becomes a cosmetic concern for you or restrict you in some way, then you can go for surgical removal of only that particular lipoma. There are no medicines available to stall the growth. Hope this helps In case of further query you can discuss on my page regards.
