Hi There I have fractured on my left foot. It is in metatarsal bone since last 25 days. When it will get healed properly I have few queries: 1) can I go to my work with this fracture and work with bend knees completely 8 hours and commuting time 3 hours? 2) my this left fractured foot Gets numbed many times in a day, what to do? 3) is there any way to heal my fractured foot properly. Normal time for bony union is 4-6 weeks. Yes you can go to work and travel but you should get a synthetic walking cast on. You can walk over the cast. Cases of numbness can be trauma to neurovascular structures. Expect full recovery in 6-9 months. Plaster is not a bad way of treating MT fracture. Share x-rays.
