My mother 53 diagnosed with right frontal convexity meningioma brain tumor of 1.2 cm. Doctor asked me to wait and told to observe and do repeat MRI after one or two year. At what point is surgery justified?

Surgery is justified if the meningioma increases rapidly in size or if the patient gets any neurological deficits for example limb weakness, abnormal mental status, refractory headaches, vomiting etc.
