Sir/mam my wife is one month pregnant n she have 74 kg weight. Us ka ye extra weight pregnancy main koi problem to create ni kre ga.

As your wife is overweight she should gain 6-8 kg wt during pregnancy, she should take a healthy balanced protein rich diet. Should take a carbohydrate and fat restricted diet, should not take junk food ,fried food ,carbonated drinks, If wt gain is more then chances of developing gestational diabetes and Pregnancy induced hypertension are more. If she restricts her wt gain and follow dietary advice does regular exercises, she will be fine.
