I was taking galvus met 50/850 and changed to volix 0.3 today. My blood sugar is going up after taking volix 0.3 mg why?

Volix reduces b.s by preventing intestinal absorption upto 50 mg only Galvus reduce bs by acting on pancreas by increasing insulin which is more effective.
