I am 46 years old and I have recently got results of my blood tests which shows that my urea is 8.3, creatinine 77, Blood glucose 4.8. I'm a bit scared about the urea because the maximum level for a female should have been 7.5. Please advice. Thank you.

Thanks for the query. Urea 8.3 mg is high. However, if there are no symptoms related to that one need not worry. High urea can lead to joint pains and gout. If you are not having that then there is no need to worry. However, it is better if you reduce eating foods that contain high purines like red meat, organ meat, sea foods etc. The other two values (creatinine & glucose) are not clear as no proper units are mentioned. Thanks.
