I'm taking stilnoct 12.5 mg and oleanz plus to get sound sleep, as directed by sycatarist, I'm getting very sound sleep, I'm suffering from bipolar disorder, my doctor is giving me Lithosun 300 mg for 3 times, but my kidney report is on higher side, nexito 10 for 1 a day, Please guide me.

Dear lybrate-user, Most of these tablets that you are taking has to pass through kidneys daily. Since your kidney report is on higher side you need to avoid few unnecessary drug like Stilnoct. Oleanz plus itself may give sound sleep. Lithosun 900 mg is also one of the culprit for kidney higher side reports. Discuss with your psychiatrist about your kidney reports and your serum lithium level with 300 mg of lithosun three times a day. Depending on the lithium level he may reduce the dose of lithosun or change you to another mood stabiliser. He may check you for other medical diseases causing kidney damage and self medications of painkillers by you.
