Hi my friend is suffering from CKD and undergoing dialysis. Creatinine levels are almost 12. And any possibility is there to get cure if he go with ayurvedic treatment. If yes would you please suggest some ayurvedic hospitals for kidney disease.

Hi lybrate-user. Our kidneys have a lot of redundancy in terms of basic function of filtration and clearing toxins from body. If somebody reaches a stage where the creatinine has risen to 12 and is on dialysis, then it means there is no possiblity of recovery. Only option that remains is dialysis or transplant. Life after kidney diseases is not that bad if one lives properly and follows the advise of his or her nephrologist. And looking for a cure would actually harm you when there is none, because then the complaince falls down. My advise is you follow your nephrologist's advise.
