I have post diphtheria subglotic stenosis. I have tracheostomy tube since 7 yrs. Doctors said that my wind pipe gap is just 2 inches. So that I can not talk. Is there any chance for me to talk as usual. I can not able to talk even when close the tracheostomy tube hole. I got operated in ent hospital, koti, hyd. Please help me.

Accept the fact and remember when tracheotomy tube is in place larynx gets closed and hence you are not able to talk and once we are confident that there is no problem in breathing after hole closure than you will be able to talk but as of now accept the fact
