My wife is 46yrs old. She is suffering with Adenomyosis for which extra bleeding occurs during the period. Is there any home or any pathy treatment without operation?

Dear as she is nearing to menopause, after ruling out contraindications, she can take combine oral contraceptive pill, or only progesterone pill or progesterone intrauterine device. One regular check up with full examination, blood pressure, liver function tests, lipid profile, blood sugar, hb. Paps smear test are the tests required. Sometimes d and c is helpful both to rule out uterine pathology and also reduces bleeding along with this you can give her tranexamic acid, iron calcium multi vitamines, and vit d. Try this for 2-3 months and see the response, if she is responds, you can avoid surgery.
