I am 36 weeks running pregnant and had cerclage done on 16th dec 2017. Now when should my stitches can be removed. Also my recent 36 weeks USG says baby position LOP, for which my doc suggested zero chances of normal delivery n only C section will do. And she advised me for C section after 3-4 days of removal of stitches. Is it right or can I wait any further for C section after stitched removal. Also can I postpone cerclage removal any further.

The cerclage stitch should be removed at 37 weeks. You should not wait to get the stitch removed any longer than that because if labour sets in with the stitch on, it can cause trauma to the cervix. LOP position of the baby on ultrasound scan is not an indication to deliver by Caesarean section as the baby turns to normal position in 90% of cases during labour and can be delivered normally.
