I am a 23 year old boy and a brilliant student as I have achieved laurels throughout my college course. I was diagnosed with Vitamin B12 deficiency since I was having dizziness, shortness of breath, confidence lack and heart palpitation along with weight loss. So my doctor advised me with Fefol and mecobal OD once in a day. Along with it he also prescribed stalopam 10 mg and Trika0. 5 mg twice a day and metalor xr 50 once in a day. When I again met him again in 1 month I was all fine but he said to continue fefol and macabal Od for one more month and rest (trika, stalopam and metalor for at least 6 months). I do not understand why the duration is so long and what if I quit it or else what if I take these drugs for soo long I get addicted for it for lifetime. I am really concern on this because I want to be fine by myself nd not on medicines. Can any one kindly guide me on this?
