My wife has undergone hernia surgery, Dr. said the cesarean 7 years before hernia surgery was not done properly so she cut my wife abdomen 14 cms long, also Dr. added mesh during surgery, it's now one month, still she complains little discomfort and pain at the hernia. My questions are 1. How much time it will take to get rid of pain and discomfort 2. Skin at the dissection area has become very bad with lot of wrinkles, how can I regain the original colour. 3. How should I ensure what has been done is correct and no other issues or complications exist. thanks.

Pain and discomfort will go in next 6 months. If there is no further bulge on standing or coughing then it means nothing to worry.
