Hello Lybrate user. Hepatitis will not spread through sweat. Body fluids like blood, serum, seminal fluid, vaginal fluid, any kind of urethrovaginanal discharge, pus have very very high chance of spreading hepatitis. HbS antigen negativity can't exclude hepatitis B infection. A hepatitis B mother should not breastfeed her child and after delivery of the the child should be given immunoglobulin within 12 hrs of birth. Delivery should be conducted at a good hospital. The other sexual partner of hepatitis B (either husband or wife) must be tested and receive a complete course of hepatitis B vaccines at 0,1 and 6 months. Sexual intercourse should be avoided during pregnancy. Other family members should be vaccinated also.
