Hello doctor. My papa had Hodgkin's lymphoma .His chemo treatment was going on well but lastly only 2 chemos were left and he got lung infection because of cough and the pulmonologist. Dr. had advised 6 cycle chemo. He was 69 and after the 3 cycle CT scan was checked his results and said there is a patch in his lungs and then the oncologist reduced the dosage which affected the lungs and after that chemo had been given. But last i.e 10 th cycle cough had occurred and after going to hospital they referred pulmonologist and Dr. had given high steroid and medicine was given in high dose but the cough did not reduce. After. And later we lost him forever. We don't know what could be the reason. We don't know what really happened and we can't understand. Please let me know what could be the reason for this. According to you.
