Hi, my mother is 54 yo when she had undergone hysterectomy along with bilateral oophorectomy. She had not done estrogen replacement therapy (ERT) after the surgery and it's been one year when she had that surgery. As I have read in many articles it is mentioned that one needs to go for ERT/HT otherwise cardiovascular disease CAD and osteoporosis risk increases. I would like to know if it's recommended to go for ERT and if not can any dietary changes be considered instead. Please help, thanks in advance.
