I am 44 years female. I was diagnosed with cancer in my big intestine in 2013. I was on some Ayurveda medication. Last week I got my CT scan and I was diagnosed as same like 2013. The good news is it has not spread. I need expert advice to take it up further.

Early colonic cancers are treated by surgery alone. If advanced or spread to the nodes, they may need chemotherapy and the prognosis is poorer and chances of cure and survival go down. Colon cancer may be slow growing over the years, but the cancer if untreated, can have microscopic spread to lymph nodes which would be diagnosed on pathology. Hopefully the ct scan includes the chest as colonic cancer are known to the liver and lungs. I have not seen cancer being cured by alternative medicines. Some of them contain steroids, which are known to suppress cancer for some time. What was the colonoscopy report and Biopsy. Where exactly was the growth. Colonic and rectal cancers are treated differently. We need to compare the CT scans of 2013 and 2018 to confirm if there is no progression. We need to treat the cancer rather than waiting for it to spread. If you want to share the reports or discuss this further, feel free to contact me directly.
