I am 28 years old and I am currently 35 weeks pregnant. I did my scan yesterday, according to the report fetus showing a growth of 36 weeks 6 days against the gestational period of 35 weeks 1 day according to lmp. The weight of the fetus shown is 2.99 kg. After scrutinising the report doctor informed that she will induce for delivery during 37th week as the fetus became over weight. Please guide is it safe for the baby to induce labour in 37 weeks before I get natural labour pain.

I Do Not think that just keeping the criteria of weight in mind baby should be induced early. Wait till 38 weeks atleast.
