Chronic knee pain is most common due to excessive excertion of knee. For example, excessive use of stairs, squatting or prolonged crossed leg sitting. You need to avoid it. At the same time strengthen them with physiotherapy. If all the tests are negative and pain is still persisting despite physiotherapy and medication, MRI knee can be considered to rule out any local pathology in knee.
