Please get after food glucose test and HbA1c% done, which will give a clear idea about diabetes. Diet restriction, exercise and weight control do help in controlling blood glucose. But once diabetes is confirmed, drugs are needed to control the glucose along with other treatments. High uric acid in some people may not cause joint related pain or gout.
