Hi, My wife is suffering from cough and breathing problems. Had been admitted to hospital last year because of excessive reduction of oxygen in body. She is taking glimisave m2/prolomet am25/ivabrad 5. In addition to this she is taking homeopathic R57/bc2. Kindly advice for further improvement. She still has problem in walking and her oxygen levels fluctuate.

Dear lybrate user, To guide you better, I understood Your wife has been suffering with cough & breathing problem, her PaO2 is sub optimum at occasions ,she is diabetic and concurrently she has high bp with angina like (CAD/IHD) status, as she is on prolomet 25. She has breathlessness either due to ILD /bronchitis /bronchiecstatis (failure of blood to incorporate o2 from respiration, OR breathlessness /dyspnoea is either due to organic or existing heart disorders, in come cases metabolic reasons may be there for breathlessness, severe anaemia aggravates existing breathlessness, I am sure if we work on diagnostic as well as clinical procedure to find the real cause of the breathlessness, physiological medicines as well as compliance for the patient could be better formulated ,taking only medicines may not serve the purpose ,kindly carry on following tests asap- PA chest digital view, ECG ,abc, tsh,lft ,creatinine ,bun and write to me directly at thy.
