I am 6 weeks pregnant my doctor advised me susten 300 along with proluton depot inj. My first beta hcg was 4972 and second beta hcg levels after 48 hours was 8900 as of yesterday. My another doctor advised me dhupaston 10 mg twice a day. I am confused whether I need to take dhupaston along with susten or I need to choose any one of them? Also let me know if my hcg levels are ok?

Hi lybrate-user Just to update you that Proluton, Susten and Duphastone all are progesterone which are given to support pregnancy. In any case of untoward event or crisis these progesterone help in sustaining pregnancy. In most of clinical scenarios either susten or duphastone (daily dosages) is combined with Proluton depot (500 mg weekly basis ). I think you should clarify with your obstetrician which combination they are ok with. On top of that I would recommend you to stick to one physician at one point of time.
