It depends upon your activity requirement, pain severity & xray picture of joints. If x ray show joints are worn out cartilage, pain is severe & joints damaged painful ,you should go for total knee replacement surgeries. Better & better newer joints help early better rehab and ambulation.

Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube ornormal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day.
