My 8 months kid (8 kg) is not eating anything. Cerelac, rice, fruits. Etc since last 4 days. She's closing her mouth and crying if we feed forcefully. She is hungry but healthy and not having other issues. Only eating mothers milk and I am worried that its not sufficient for 8 kg baby. Kindly advise and prescribe some medicines or any other ideas she will feel hungry and eat something.

Hello check if she has colic. Passing stools urine adequately. Give her boiled water. Give her soups fruit juices. Soft khichadi. Give her Cina 30 4pills 2 times a day for 3 days. Can call or consult on Lybrate profile privately.

Please do not forcefeed the baby. Her weight for her age is on higher side. DO NOT WORRY. As long as baby is alert active playful I am sure she does not have any problem. No need to give any medicine to increase her appetite. Have patience Give her cafeteria choice Semisolid f/mashed freshly prepared home made preparation of baying texture colour and consistency. Feeding a baby is am art and needs patience.

Don't give frequent mother feeds and try again and again semi solid foods she will improve in 2-3 days but mother milk should be restricted.
