Is it advisable to take nurokind OD (1500mcgmethylcobalamin) and Nephrocaps (500mcgmethylcobalamin) once daily each? Will it be overdose? The later has been advised by a local doctor. The previous is continuing since 2 years. My sr. Creatinine is 1.4.I am a 54 years male diabetic, hypertension and thyroid patient. All in control.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Both products mentioned are having the same drug. Our daily requirement of Vitamin B12 is just about 1 mcg. Only in situations where there is any specific deficiency or if there are symptoms associated with nerve irritation it is used for some time. Taking it in such high dose for over 2 years is just a waste ofdrug and money. Thanks.
