Hi. I and my husband had unprotected sex on the 11th day of my cycle. I took ipill the next day oly. Now on the 16th day of my cycle I started bleeding and on the 18th day noticed brown discharge as clots. Is this normal and how to calculate my safe days for intercourse from now.

Hi, Always it is better to have protected sex with proper contraception. Generally emergency contraceptives leads to these kind of side effects like bleeding. There are no safe days for intercourse since a sperm can be alive in female genital system for long enough sometimes to fertilize egg and cause pregnancy. The only difference is the probability of getting pregnant is low during the so called safe days but still there is a probability of getting pregnant.
