In persons with long standing diabetes, there is an affection to small and large blood vessels, this leads to multiple problems including erectile dysfunction (ED). Therefore it is essential to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting blood glucose < 100 mg, PP: 150 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8.
