Hi, I have skipped by periods in May and June on 7th. My gynaecologist has prescribed with ovral L for 10 days previously One each telling me that I would get periods. After having the course for ten days I did not get my periods. As I have to visit a pilgrimage on 22nd June, I asked my doctor what should I do. She prescribed ovral L - morning and night 2 each for 3 days so that I can pre-pone my periods. Still, I did not get my periods. On 17, when I visited her again, June she was a bit confused with my cycle as I am not getting periods even after such a dose. She prescribed OVRAL G this time for 10 days and told to stop. (my thyroid and abdomen reports are normal, neither am pregnant. But I am 21 years old, overweight by 20 kgs (82 kg). From past 2 months, there is a change in my routine as I'm interning as a part of my academic schedule and lot's of mental stress.) Now I have started ovral G course from yesterday assuming that I will get periods after I stop my course. Please tell me whether the reason behind not getting periods is my weight/change in routine/stress / OVARL tablets are not reacting on my body / Any other. I'm seriously worried about my cycle. Will I get periods or should I change the doctor? Please advise me in detail because this matter is stressing me a lot and unable to concentrate on my routine.

1) anytime when a woman takes tablet like Ovral she gets periods only after gap of few days after stopping same and not while treatment is going on. 2) For your overweight-cycle problem etc. You need to undergo thorough examination, and reports as per Gynecologist.
