I am having hypertension for the last 20 years taking medicine to control the problem now occasionally I feel giddiness and the doctor says the pulse rate is below 50 how to overcome this problem.

Remember if there are no symptoms, low pulse rate most of the times doesn't need treatment There are no surefire ways to stop bradycardia from happening, but if you are active and eat well on a low-sodium diet, you may reduce your chances of getting it. Other things that help: Stay at a good weight for you Manage your blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar If you smoke, try to quit If not a pacemaker may be required.
