Hi, There might be many reasons for he not getting good sleep. Like not completely exhausted to have a long sleep cycle OR taking nap in the day OR his dinner /food that he eats in night OR medication OR even Sensory Issues. Being diagnosed for Autism are you taking him for regular Occupational Therapy i.e. Sensory Integeration so that you can rule out the underlying sensory issues. You can discuss with your occupational therapist and find the solution for this issue.

The medications are good, but can be made still better to make him get 7-8 hours sleep at least. Consult a Psychiatrist. All the best.
