First take enough measures to control the cold like medication, steam inhalation etc. The chest tightness may be because of asthma upper respiratory tract infection can trigger an asthma attack don't take any cooling food like iceream, cold water, cool drinks etc consult a pulmonologist for complete evaluation and management.
