My wife is pregnant with twins. She was getting vaginal discharge 18.5 weeks, cervical length 3.4 cm. Dr. Advised for cerclage. They took vaginal swab and next day cerclage was done. After cerclage test of vaginal swab came positive for candida albicans. It means cerclage was done while candida albicans was present in vagina. My question is will it affect my baby, if yes then what is the symptoms & cure? Whether infant have some mental issue?

No no, don?t think to that extent. Its just vaginal candiasis and not fungal infection in blood stream. Meet your doctor and she will give you treatment of vulvovaginal candiasis.
