Hi, I am breathing heavily for sometime now and snoring a lot. My resting heart rate is also around 100 always. I got all heart related tests done but doctors said that it's okay with some people. But I doubt I have Nasal Polyps because of which my breathing is heavy resulting in increased heart beat. Is there a way to figure out what this could be? I have sinus problems also - I am very allergic to dust and sea foods.

Dear Lybrateuser, Allergies may affect breathing patterns, specially mouth breathing is noisier and very frequent. I will suggest that you consult a Pulmonologist and get your PFT Test (for knowing the working capacity of your lungs) and if allergies are disturbing you then an Allergy Test may be helpful. Try to lead a healthy lifestyle with lots of fresh air, moderate exercise and healthy diet. Wishing you Good Health.
