Rotavirus vaccine is given orally at 2 and 3 rd month. It is in liquid form iafter reconstitution and give orally with syringe directly after removing the needle.

There are currently three Rotavirus vaccines available. Two are imported and one is Indian Monovalent Rotavirus Vaccine (imported) 2 doses at 4 weeks interval Pentavalent Vaccine (Imported) 3 doses at 4 week intervals Monovalent Vaccine (Indian) 3 doses at 4 week intervals The vaccine course has to be completed before 8 months of age.
