My mom had fibroid in her uterus. Because of high bp uterus removal operation could not be done. She was on elata tablet since 6 months. The fibroid size has reduced to a very small one. She did not get her periods during the 6 months. 20 days back doctor suggested to stop elata. And now she is having very very heavy periods. Has the fibroid size increased again? What to do please suggest.

Consult Physician and get BP controlled. Get TVS (Trans Vaginal Sonography) to know the size of fibroid (whether increased in size or not). If the size is increasing and there is bleeding, get the fibroid removed by operation ie Myomectomy.
