Hello, I'm 17 years old and have PCOD for 1.8 years and no birth pill seems to help me regularise my periods. I have gained 7 KGS very rapidly and my belly is very protruded. Can I take 500 mg glyciphage or metformin daily to help PCOD even though my sugar level is okay?

Yes metformin can be taken in PCO even if blood sugars are normal; but it is best taken after consulting a Gynaecologist.
